These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the purchase and use of Transientik Master (the "Software"), an audio mastering plug-in published by PostFrontal S.A.S. di Giuliano Golfieri & c. ("we", "us"), a Società in accomandita semplice (S.a.s.) with registered office at Via Maria Montessori 12, 20138 Milano (MI), Italy (VAT IT05264240960). By downloading, purchasing, activating or using the Software you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. The Software
Transientik Master is a downloadable audio plug-in delivered in VST3 + AU formats for Windows + macOS. It performs 100% local processing on your computer and does not require an account, a cloud connection or a subscription to operate.
2. Licence
On full payment we grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual ("lifetime") licence to install and use the Software. The licence is bound to the email address used at purchase.
- You may activate and use the Software on up to 3 computers that you own or control.
- You may use the Software and the audio it produces in your own personal and commercial projects, with no additional royalty owed to us.
- The licence includes updates as described in section 6.
The 3-device limit is a fair-use cap. There is currently no self-service de-activation: if you change or run out of computers, contact support@transientik.com and we will reset a seat for you.
3. Restrictions
You may not, and may not permit others to:
- resell, rent, lease, sublicense, share, give away or otherwise distribute the Software or your licence;
- copy the Software except for a reasonable backup, or make it available on a network where others could obtain it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- remove, disable or circumvent the licensing, activation or watermarking mechanisms, or use a cracked, leaked or unlicensed copy.
4. Free demo
We offer a fully functional free demo of the Software so you can evaluate it on your own material before buying. The demo applies a periodic voiceover watermark to the output until a valid licence is activated. The demo is provided "as is" for evaluation only.
5. Orders, price, payment and taxes
Our order process, checkout, payment, invoicing and tax handling are operated by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle", paddle.com), which acts as the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller of the Software. Your purchase contract for payment is therefore with Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply. Paddle collects and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax.
The Software is sold for a one-time price of €19.99 in the EU, $19.99 in the United States and £16.99 in the United Kingdom. In other regions the price is shown in your local currency, set by Paddle from the base price. The price and currency shown at checkout, and Paddle's order confirmation, are definitive for your purchase. See the Pricing page for details.
6. Delivery and updates
Delivery is digital. On successful payment your licence is created and bound to your purchase email, and you receive download and activation instructions. There are no physical goods.
Your lifetime licence includes the updates we release for Transientik Master at no extra cost. We may add, change, deprecate or discontinue individual features over time, and we do not guarantee that updates will be released on any particular schedule or indefinitely.
7. Refunds and right of withdrawal
Because a fully functional free demo is available before purchase, sales of the Software are generally final. Your statutory consumer rights, and the EU right of withdrawal for digital content (with the consent to immediate supply and resulting waiver set out in Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms accepted at purchase), are described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
The Software, its source code, design, user interface, name and logos are and remain the property of PostFrontal S.A.S. di Giuliano Golfieri & c. / Transientik Labs and its licensors. These Terms grant you a licence to use the Software, not any ownership of it. VST is a trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH; all other trademarks belong to their respective owners.
9. Acceptable use and anti-abuse
The Software uses activation and abuse-prevention measures. We may suspend or revoke a licence that was obtained fraudulently, shared beyond the permitted devices, cracked, or for which a payment was reversed or charged back. Where we revoke a licence for abuse, no refund is due.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or compatibility with any specific host or system. You are responsible for keeping backups of your projects and audio. This section does not exclude the legal guarantees that apply to consumers and cannot be waived.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Software or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, audio, profit or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections.
12. Term and termination
The licence lasts for as long as you comply with these Terms. It ends automatically if you materially breach them, in particular the restrictions in section 3 or the anti-abuse rules in section 9, in which case you must stop using and delete the Software. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
13. Privacy
We process personal data in connection with your purchase and licence as described in our Privacy Policy. Paddle processes your payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version and effective date at the top of this page reflect the latest revision. The Terms in force at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country. For all other cases, the courts of Milan, Italy have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms or your licence: support@transientik.com. Billing, invoices and payment queries can also be handled directly by Paddle.
